Make Recurring Event

The goal of this document is to walk you through recurring Event Campaigns in Salesforce.  


Once you have created your Event AND you have verified the information is correct (to include spelling/grammar checks - trust me!), you will then set the recurrence. 

Step 1: Select the Make Recurring button. This will bring up the Repeat dialog box.  

Step 2: Set up the recurrence using the options in the Repeat dialog box. Options are different based on Daily, Weekly, or Monthly  NOTE: See Step 3 before pressing Create Recurring button

Daily:

1. Repeat: Weekly

2. Every: How often does it repeat.

3. Repeat on: For a daily recurrence, choose all days of the week.

4. Number of Occurrences: best practice is to start with 5-10

5. Repeat Starting: should be set to the day after the event starts.

6. Ending - Optional Field.
Weekly:

1. Repeat: Weekly 


2. Every: How often does it repeat.


3. Repeat on: Choose day of the week


4. Number of Occurrences: best practice is to start with 5-10.


5. Repeat Starting: should be set to the day after the event starts.


6. Ending - Optional Field.

Monthly:

1. Repeat: Monthly 


2. Every: How often does it repeat.


3. Repeat on: Choose day of the month or day of the week.


4. Number of Occurrences: best practice is to start with 5-10.


5. Repeat Starting: should be set to the day after the event starts.


6. Ending - Optional Field.

Step 3: Verify dates in the Preview of Start Dates. Once dates are confirmed, Click Create Recurring.  


NOTE: Screen will pause until copies are finished then exit back to original event campaign. DO NOT repeat until Step 4 has been completed.

Step 4: Verify your work. Return to the Campaigns screen to view your recurred events. Example shown below is a Monthly recurring event.
